From local shop to online success
In the bustling suburbs of Nashville, we were two brothers, Oliver and Lucas, who shared a common love of craftsmanship and creativity. Since childhood, we spent our days in our garage, surrounded by tools, scraps, and half-finished projects. Our father, a skilled carpenter, instilled in us the value of creating with our own hands.
In our twenties, fueled by our passion and experience, we opened a small hardware store in Nashville. It was a modest, cozy place filled with tools and home repair kits. The local community loved it - the shop was not just a store, but a center for sharing tips, stories, and laughter.
However, the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic created an unforeseen challenge. As Nashville was quarantined, the store had to close temporarily. We quickly refocused on the digital world. We created the EasyFix online store, using social media to connect with our customers and creating instructional videos, infusing our online presence with the same warmth and expertise that our physical store was known for.
To our surprise, the online store was a hit. Orders started coming in from all over the country. People weren't just buying tools, they were buying a philosophy of quality, functionality, and individualized approach to each product. From simple hammers to state-of-the-art laser tape measures, each item reflected our commitment to craftsmanship.
